Hello and Welcome . . .

Objective of the group

The objective is for people over 40 years of age to meet others and form new friendships. This is accomplished by the club going out for dinners, brunches, films and wine trails etc.

About the Forty Plus Friendship Club

The club meets approximately three times a month. In the week prior to an outing a committee member will contact you to let you know what is happening in the coming weekend. If you are not home a message will be left and then you need to contact Maria (04 938 0657) or leave a message on her answer phone if you wish to attend.

Approximately 20-25 people attend each outing in a safe and relaxed atmosphere.

There is no membership fee only a $2 coin donation when attending an outing.

A newsletter is produced three to four months in advance and we go to a variety of restaurants in Wellington, Lower Hutt and Porirua.

History of the Forty Plus Friendship Club

The club was started in August 2000 by Maria when a group of thirteen people met for dinner at the West Plaza and has now grown with an average of 20 at each outing going out three times a month.
